Sports Massage Therapy for Animals
Total You Health with soon offer Equine Sport Massage Therapy, which can also apply to our canine and feline clients as well. It is a very therapeutic and non-toxic way of helping our 4-legged clients feel better, especially when tied in with Photobiomodulation therapy.
Massage has many documented benefits which include enhanced muscle tone and range of motion, reduced inflammation and swelling in the joints (which leads to decreased pain), increased flow of nutrients to the muscles which aides in carrying away excessive fluids and toxins, released muscle tension, and more.
Our employees receive their ESMT certification via Equissage, the first Animal Massage program to be approved and earn the status of “approved provider” by the NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork). You can be assured that with a certification from Equissage, your pet will receive a massage from someone who graduated from a proven program that will obtain great results for your animal.
Total You Health recommends combining both ESMT and PBM for best results. Best of all, this therapy can be brought right to your door/barn. Contact a Total You Health employee about our success stories and pricing!

What our clients say
I recently added a mini Australian Shepherd to my family named Twoey. He received his second round of vaccinations as well as a Bordetella injection at the beginning of June. That evening he was very lethargic and did not want to get up off the floor. Twoey is usually a very hyper puppy and follows me everywhere so the fact that I had to use treats just to get him to get up and move made me a bit worried. He was also very sore from his injection sites and would cry if I accidentally touched them. I reached out to Linda and she had me come over so she could use the Thor DDV veterinary spot treatment on Twoey. She treated all around where he had received his injections. When Twoey and I got home I could already see a difference. He walked me all over the yard and a little bit later he had a burst of energy and wanted to play. The next morning he was his usual hyper self and did not seem to be sore at all. He was chasing me and my brother all over the house. I am so grateful we were able to get in to see Linda and have Twoey receive a treatment. I am already planning on having him receive another treatment after his next round of vaccinations.

"I am so grateful to have Total You Health and PBM therapy available in our area! The staff is very knowledgeable, professional and truly wants the best outcome for you. This therapy has been extremely effective in treating my joint inflammation and general aches and pains due to arthritis and Lymes disease. I researched medical evidence and discovered all the benefits of PMB treatments as a pro-active means of treating illness before it develops such as dementia and Alzheimer's. I want to stay ahead of any health issues that may arise and feel PBM therapy is one of the most natural and effective approaches I can take to maintain my health.
The real proof and beauty of this noninvasive form of treatment came from my canine! Chloe, is an 11 year old golden retriever. She suffered from severe arthritis with joint pain that limited her mobility and mood. She was always very willing but unable to play or walk without obvious pain. She has gone thru many different trials of medications, exercises and even acupuncture to help reduce her pain. All methods did help somewhat but nothing has been as effective as PBM therapy. I inquired with Linda to see if she would do a PBM treatment on Chloe. Linda was eager to give it a try and the results have been amazing! After only 3 treatments, Chloe is once again playful, able to chase squirrels and go for a daily walk! The real truth comes from Chloe's happy tail thumping , gentle nudges and kisses she gives Linda and staff while undergoing treatment. "
